About us

The college operates across Herefordshire and Shropshire, with campuses in Holme Lacy, Hereford, Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Walford and Oswestry.

The college serves ca. 2,500 full-time and 6,000 part-time learners (including those on university level courses) and ca. 750 apprentices per annum.

The majority of the full-time students, ca 2,100, are aged 16 to 18. Student retention and pass rates are consistently high.

The college has received excellent feedback from Ofsted, is rated Ofsted ‘good’ and received a silver award under the Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework for higher education provision.

The college has a talented and well-qualified staff and is one of the largest employers in Herefordshire and Shropshire. It owes its ongoing success to staff commitment, professionalism and a strong desire to serve students so they can achieve their very best.

What do we do?

The College offers a broad range of courses, ranging from Catering to Construction, Engineering to Equine Studies, and Farriery to Forestry, from entry level to A levels/Level 3 equivalent qualifications and university level degree programmes.
